The Master’s in ICT for Development and Social Good is a 9+3 month, flexible graduate program offered in two models: full master model and online-only master model.
The program aims to to equip future professionals and practitioners with the competencies, ethical grounding, and technological fluency needed to lead digital transformation in service of global equity, inclusion, and sustainability.
This transdisciplinary program offers far more than a traditional tech or development degree. It is a launchpad for those who seek to work at the intersection of emerging technologies, social innovation, and international cooperation. You will engage with state-of-the-art technologies, gain practical experience, and develop a robust set of competencies—including epistemic (knowledge and skills) and non-epistemic (values, dispositions, and attitudes) dimensions—essential for critically engaging with complex global challenges in the digital age. Our curriculum combines rigorous academic training with immersive, hands-on learning.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of the program, you’ll be equipped to design, lead, and critically assess ICT4D projects around the world. You will:
- Master emerging frameworks and methodologies for tech-enabled social innovation.
- Develop cross-sector expertise in planning, deploying, and managing ICT4D initiatives in areas like health, agriculture, humanitarian response, financial inclusion, and digital education.
- Gain practical experience using cutting-edge technologies—while learning when not to use them.
- Analyze real-world ICT4D initiatives and critically assess their impact, scalability, and ethical implications.
- Learn to adapt and localize digital methods and tools to meet the specific needs of communities, while navigating risks such as exclusion, surveillance, or techno-solutionism.
